Program Overview:
The A+ Home Inspections Internship Program is designed to provide high school and college students with hands-on experience in the home inspection industry. This program focuses on equipping young professionals with the technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional development they need to pursue careers in home inspection, construction, real estate, or related fields.

Program Objectives :
Provide students with a foundational understanding of the home inspection process. Offer hands-on learning opportunities in real-world scenarios. Teach students to use industry tools and technologies effectively. Foster professional development through mentorship and teamwork. Program Structure

  • High School Program: 6-week summer internship (part-time). College Program: 12-week internship (part-time or full-time, depending on availability).

  • Interns will work out of A+ Home Inspections' headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and accompany professional inspectors on local site visits.

  • Industry Fundamentals: Overview of home inspection services, standards, and regulations.
    Field Experience: Shadowing certified inspectors on site to learn the process of inspecting roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components.
    Reporting Skills: Training in preparing comprehensive inspection reports using industry-standard software.
    Client Relations: Learning how to effectively communicate findings to clients.
    Professional Skills: Developing soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Interns will receive basic training in: Safety practices during inspections. Introduction to inspection tools and software. Opportunity to complete online certifications such as OSHA safety or introductory home inspection courses (sponsored by A+ Home Inspections).
    Eligibility
    Criteria High School Students: Must be at least 16 years old. Currently enrolled in a high school program with an interest in construction, real estate, or business fields. Parental/guardian consent required. College Students: Must be enrolled in a college or university program in construction management, real estate, engineering, or a related field. Basic computer and communication skills are preferred.

Include an essay of 500–750 words discussing why you want to join the A+ Internship program, what you hope to learn, and how it will help you achieve your career aspirations.
